Description: 

The Manager, US Strategic Alliances, is a full-time, exempt position responsible for driving Novocure’s partnership and growth initiatives with US physician societies. The successful candidate will excel in building high-impact relationships with executive leadership across these entities, and creating collaborative opportunities to enhance strategic alliances as Novocure expands.

 

This is a full-time position tied to Chesterbrook, PA, Washington, DC or Portsmouth, NH and reports to the Director, Strategic Alliances and State Government Affairs. We have a hybrid, 3 day per week in-office environment setup.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Corporate Membership Management 

  • Execute and manage corporate membership contracts.  
  • In conjunction with US commercial leadership, develop strategy for the membership year, including clear goals, deliverable tracking, and optimization of corporate member benefits. 
  • Track and ensure corporate membership benefits are aligned with company priorities to maximize return on investment. 
  • Support Director in managing annual strategic alliances budget.

 

Strategic Engagement and Communication 

  • Proactively liaise with internal cross functional partners to determine society partnership priorities.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Novocure’s global teams to understand and incorporate the priorities of our international markets.
  • Facilitate quarterly check-ins with society business development partner.  
  • Communicate relevant society updates to key internal contacts, in the US and globally and provide quarterly updates on society engagement to relevant internal stakeholders. 
  • Report end of year on value of partnership and recommendations for next year.  

 

Event and Leadership Support 

  • Secure internal attendees for key society events outside of the annual conference. 
  • Facilitate meetings for Novocure leadership with society leadership, as appropriate. 
  • Have visibility to marketing plans/strategy for Novocure presence at congresses.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic alliances, preferably in a corporate or business association environment and ideally expereince collaborating with physiciasn societies. Account management experience in oncology and/or complex therapeutics is prefered. Minimum of an undergraduate degree required. Advanced degree preferred. 
  • High energy, team-oriented, self-starter, with expereince engaging with high-level decision-makers.
  • Leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with and influence diverse audiences at various management levels.
  • Strong projct management, organizational and problem-solving skills; sound judgment and a willingness to resolve issues and problems in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated exceptional and effective communication skills, both written and oral, for internal and external audiences at all levels; ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization.
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with high quality execution in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
