What is the PI Behavioral Assessment and why do we need it?

The PI Behavioral Assessment is an online behavioral assessment tool that allows us to evaluate the cognitive abilities, personality traits and behavioral tendencies of a candidate based on four drives, namely dominance, extraversion, patience and formality. These insights facilitate a good match between us and and the candidate.

As part of the recruitment process, depending on the position you apply for, we may ask you to take the PI Behavioral Assessment to help us determine if you are a good fit for the position you apply for. There are no right or wrong answers, but rather the PI Behavioral Assessment provides us an indication of your needs and drives in the workplace. The PI Behavioral Assessment and its results are only one of several criteria for advancing your application to the next stage of the recruitment process. We would like to emphasize that no automated individual decision-making will be made at any time. The results of the PI Behavioral Assessment will be reviewed by a human being.

What data do we process and on what basis?

Besides general contact details (name, email address, language preference), we collect and process the answers you provide during the PI Behavioral Assessment as well as your resulting profile.

To the extent that we need a legal basis to process your data, we rely on the basis of processing to initiate an employment contract (or other contract under which you work for us, e.g. as a contractor) with you.

With whom do we share your data?

The results of your PI Behavioral Assessment will only be available to the hiring manager for the position you applied for and the HR employees on a need-to-know basis.

As the operator of the platform and service provider, PI will also have access to your data. PI is incorporated in the United States. As such, your data may be processed in the United States. For such transfers to a non-whitelisted country, we have put in place the necessary safeguards to ensure an appropriate data protection level and have concluded the European Commission's standard contractual clauses with PI.

How long do we store the assessment data?

Novocure Inc. will generally keep the assessment data for [3] months from the end of the relevant recruitment process.

Can we update this Privacy Notice?

This Privacy Notice is not part of a contract of employment with you. We can change this Privacy Notice at any time. The version published on the platform is the current version. If we make significant changes to this Privacy Notice, we will inform you by notice by email.
