Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. To support our team in Baar, Switzerland we are looking for a:
Vice President, Value and Access Strategy
The VP Value & Access will lead Value (including HEOR), Pricing and Access Strategy, and Pricing Governance across all indications with a primary focus on our businesses in Europe and Japan. The leader will expand our Value team, including building up our HEOR team to cover multiple new indications. Additionally, the leader will define the Pricing and Access Strategy for each new indication in collaboration, including market sequencing, in collaboration with our operating businesses. Post launches, this role will also oversee Pricing
Governance to ensure our reimbursement submissions and negotiations are in line with our approved reimbursement levels.
This role will be a key partner to the European and Japan General Managers and Market Access directors in preparing reimbursement submissions and determining our access strategy around the submission. The leader in this role will need to establish and implement a consistent strategy for reimbursement submissions, and then support the local teams in executing the vision. The VP Value and Access will also be responsible to ensure our market access directors collaborate and feel a sense of community while still reporting to the local GMs.
The leader will be a key member of the business leadership team, reporting to Novocure’s President. Additionally, this individual will work closely with the VP Public Affairs who leads the US Policy & Reimbursement teams to ensure the US business has the support needed to ensure timely coverage from private and public payers.
Your responsibilities:

Lead Value, Pricing and Access teams and recruit new talent to strengthen our capabilities

Deliver the HEOR and Global Value Dossiers necessary for all indications and all markets

Establish, communicate and support a consistent approach to negotiations with payers and regulators around reimbursement submissions in Europe and Japan

Partner closely with the GMs and Market Access teams in Europe and Japan to prepare dossier submissions

Serve as the core, corporate level subject matter expert on all matters related to reimbursement trends outside the United States

Maintain our Pricing Governance procedures and reporting across all markets, including US

Ensure best-in-class Value and HEOR capabilities to support all markets, including US

Serve as the senior leader and CoE for the community of Market Access directors reporting to the local in-country leadership; foster collaboration and community

Partner closely with the Product and Portfolio Strategy team on R&D prioritization and market sequencing for launches
Qualifications:

Demonstrated success leading a Value, Pricing and Access team

Demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams across departments

Prior experience leading products through a market launch and successful reimbursement

Ability to interact and drive consensus with C-level executives

Strong analytical and communication skills

Fluent in English; preferred if also competent in German or French
