Manager, EMEA Compliance

 

In this role, you will primarily work on healthcare compliance programs, developed to mitigate risks related to interactions with healthcare professionals and patients in the entire EMEA region. You will work in close collaboration with the Head of EMEA Compliance, creating oversight and continue development, implementation and maintenance of Novoocure’s compliance program within Clinical Affairs and Operations.

 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Working in close cooperation with affiliate stakeholders in the region to create a culture of compliance, including promotion of open communication and dialogues that fosters a transparent communication culture.
  • You operationalize regional compliance policies applicable to local, legal regulations and proactively identify best practices in order to minimize risks.
  • You participate in annual healthcare compliance risk assessments and implement compliance and privacy controls for the respective year.
  • For new hires and subject matter experts, you provide trainings related to compliance topics and where necessary assist with investigations related to compliance reports.
  • You review and approve HCP fees for service engagements and as necessary support other review committees in you region.
  • Furthermore you work closely together with your local colleagues within the compliance department and cross functionally on various projects.

 

 

Your profile:

  • You build your career on solid experience in compliance in a healthcare/clinical affairs environment in international environments.
  • You understand relevant compliance laws and rules such as Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Local Bribery Statue and Promotional rules as well as MedTech Europe and other regional codes.
  • You have expertise in issues affecting Medical Affairs from a compliance perspective. For example in medical, commercial interactions or similar.
  • You posses excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to analyze compliance and privacy issues  and advise accordingly.
  • You communicate effectively in English. German language skills or any other European language is highly desired.
