Ariba Operational Expert

Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure Poland is our newest office in Europe and you will be part of a global business services team supporting multiple business functions including finance and payroll and located in Krakow. The global business services organization within Novocure Poland is critical to Novocure’s efforts to drive process efficiency, standardizations and drive greater business value as the company prepares for future growth.

To support our team in Krakow, Poland we are looking for an:

Ariba Operational Expert

In this role as Ariba Operational Expert you will be act as the point of contact between internal users, IT, and SAP Ariba support. Manage relationships with third-party service providers and escalate unresolved technical issues to the Ariba Technical Architect.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure that all SAP Ariba configuration (e.g., users, approvals, and filters) are set up in accordance with Novocure’s procurement policies
• Support implementation and management of on-going operations for Novocure’s Procurement technology environment
• Monitor and regularly report on usage of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) tools and implement plans for improving tool usage/value. Generate reports and dashboards for procurement and finance teams
• Serve as liaison between Novocure and Procurement technology service providers
• Assess implications of new software releases, configure accordingly, and support necessary change management
• Demonstrating functional knowledge of Ariba modules solution and an understanding of how they interact and fit together
• Acts as the point of contact between internal users, IT, and SAP Ariba support. Manages relationships with third-party service providers. Escalates unresolved technical issues to the Ariba Technical Architect
• Proactively acts to understand business needs and offer solutions that align across business units. Drives change management initiatives to improve system adoption
• Leads and builds positive relationships with teams while delivering results
• Ability to speak to a variety of customers from different departments, at different levels, and in large or small groups
• Assist with communication internal Ariba teams about new enhancements and upcoming releases

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree, in business, purchasing or computer science
• 5-7 years' experience in Procurement, Finance, or a related function working with Ariba technologies.​
• Minimum of 2 years of customer support experience
• Experience in standard project tasks: testing, building test cases, analysis, documentation, customization, user training
• Strong project management skills and results oriented.​
• Ability to recognize strategic direction and effectively champion initiatives.​
• Able to juggle many projects and tasks as needed
• Work in an environment with changing deadlines
• Firsthand working knowledge of Procure-to-Pay technology, organization, and processes is required.​
• Experience in technical consulting or functional consulting a plus
• Fluency in English is a must, both written and spoken
