Manager, Legal Counsel

This role serves as the primary legal liaison for Germany, overseeing legal matters, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and collaborating with teams to address challenges effectively. A key focus is supporting German business activities, particularly in Revenue Operations, by providing legal and operational insights to ensure processes, contracts, and transactions align with company objectives and local laws, fostering accuracy, compliance, and strategic success.

Your responsibilities:

• Providing advice and counsel to the Revenue Operations Department on contract, market access and other topics for current and new commercialized indications
• Review, drafting and negotiation of supply contracts with statutory health insurances.
• Legal review of supply decisions by statutory health insurances, for the development and implementation of necessary procedures.
• Development of internal guidelines for the optimization of processes in connection with the reimbursement of costs by the statutory health insurances under the existing contractual and legal requirements.
• Providing a variety of general corporate and commercial legal services to a number of in-house clients.
• HR support – assist the company’s HR group in Germany with employment law matters.
• Contract Review – preparing, negotiating and reviewing a wide variety of contracts including commercial agreements, consulting agreements, software licenses, confidentiality agreements, product design and manufacturing agreements, distributor agreements, etc.
• Manage external legal advisors.

Your profile:

• Law degree from Germany
• 1-2 years of experience in a midsize to large law firm or relevant in-house experience.
• Experience with revenue operations and market access matters.
• Knowledge and experience in German labor law and HR related matters.
• Experience in the MedTech sector is a plus.
• Strong collaboration skills
• Must work confidently, proactively and assertively with a high level of independence
• Good judgment, ability to adapt and change in a shifting environment
• Fluent in English and German both written and spoken
