Novocure Poland is our newest office in Europe and you will be part of a global business services team supporting multiple business functions including finance and payroll and located in Krakow. The global business services organization within Novocure Poland is critical to Novocure’s efforts to drive process efficiency, standardizations and drive greater business value as the company prepares for future growth. To support our team in Krakow, Poland we are looking for a:

Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist

 

As a Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist you will assist in the timely and accurate processing of transactions related to the revenue cycle. You will be involved in supporting key functions to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external audit requirements. You will also assist in monthly close processes with billings and cash postings. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in bill claims on assigned schedule

  • Assist in posting payment receipts from insurers/payers and provide follow-up communication on unapplied cash 

  • Assist with monthly close processes, including reconciliation and reporting. 

  • Resolve and audit failed claims and denials to ensure if activities comply with the applicable Novocure Quality System requirements, and other company policies and procedures.

  • Communicate with manager in a timely manner regarding payer and account issues  

  • Interpret Explanation of Benefits for all types of insurances 

  • Produce and interpret ad-hoc reporting at management’s request

  • Help with other duties or priorities assigned by management as needed, as well as team projects

 

Your profile:  

  • Finance-focused background with relevant work experience up to 1 year in revenue cycle, billing, and/or collections and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly advanced MS Excel skills

  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred 

  • Experience in third party medical billing, DME billing experience as well as familiarity with basic medical and insurance terminology would be an advantage

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills 

  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize, with a high degree of accuracy 

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and solve problems 

  • Fluent in English and preferably in German, both written and spoken; any further languages are of benefit 

  • Ability to work cooperatively in a fast paced office setting 

  • Willingness to learn and develop in an accounting environment.
