Clinical Budget Analyst

We are seeking a Clinical Budget Analyst to join our Global Clinical Operations team. This role is responsible for managing clinical vendor and investigative site budgets, negotiating contract terms, and ensuring alignment with financial and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CTA (Clinical Trial Agreement) payment terms, budget negotiation, and fair market value assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and negotiate clinical trial budgets for vendors and investigative sites.
• Ensure compliance with CTA clauses, payment terms, and fair market value guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to ensure contract alignment.
• Support the creation of budget templates and playbooks to ensure consistency in negotiations.
• Oversee clinical trial vendor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to budget reconciliation and spend transparency.
• Analyze and interpret budget data to support cost control and financial reporting.
• Troubleshoot budget and payment-related issues to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in clinical budget management, financial planning, or contract negotiation.
• Experience in clinical research within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial agreements, budgeting processes, and financial systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
