(Patient Support) Device Support Specialist
Are you passionate about making a real impact on patients’ lives?
We’re looking for an empathetic and motivated Device Support Specialist to join our team and work directly with patients with terminal cancer. If you have a healthcare background and are ready to bring your skills to a groundbreaking and life-extending oncology treatment, we want you on our team.
In this hands-on, patient-facing role, you’ll be supporting patients in their homes on how to use our FDA-approved medical devices. This is not a traditional home-care position, it is teaching patients on the use of our TTF therapies (Tumor Treating Fields) and encouraging the use of our medical devices. We’re looking for individuals who are eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients, while enjoying the flexibility of a regular daytime work schedule (Monday to Friday), no night shifts, no weekend work. You will travel 60% of the time visiting patience homes and you may need to occasionally stay overnight in a hotel depending upon the territory you manage. The role is a full time, salaried position, with corporate benefits, a performance bonus, and a company car is provided.
At Novocure, we’re celebrating 25 years of extending the lives of terminally ill cancer patients. Our Device Support Specialists are at the heart of our success, and we’re driven by our Patient Forward mission to change the lives of those living with cancer.
What You’ll Do:
- Travel to patient homes, physician offices, and healthcare centres to provide hands-on support and education on our therapies and devices.
- Conduct in-home training sessions and offer ongoing support to patients and caregivers through regular follow-up visits.
- Perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and data collection during patient visits.
- Manage your own time and remain flexible to meet patient needs.
- Be part of a patient-centred team that truly values empathy, compassion, and high-quality care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a patient-facing role (e.g., nurse, medical assistant, occupational therapist, healthcare/therapy specialist, medical device support, home care, or clinical educator).
- Experience working with oncology patients is preferred.
- Compassionate, self-motivated, and able to manage your own time effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% each week, including overnight stays when required.
- A valid driver’s license and primary residence within the assigned territory.
If you’re ready to be part of a supportive, innovative team that’s transforming the future of oncology care, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and help make a life-changing difference for our patients and their families.
We are looking forward to receive your application to Natalia Munchow, Senior Talent Partner through our ApplicantPortal. Please find more information about Novocure and our therapy on our website www.novocure.com or by consulting our patient testimonial videos.
