As part of our NovoFlex Philosophy, this role requires in-office presence in Chesterbrook, PA at least three times per week. 

Novocure is pioneering cancer treatment through Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) and is seeking a Senior Lead, Mendix Development to join our Enterprise Technology team. In this hands-on leadership role, you will drive the design, development, and delivery of innovative applications using the Mendix platform - helping us modernize systems across the company. You will lead Mendix projects and vendors, serve as our subject matter expert, and collaborate across teams to enable scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical lead for all Mendix development initiatives

• Design and develop scalable applications using Mendix for web and mobile

• Guide and review work of internal and external Mendix developers

• Integrate Mendix applications with SAP, MuleSoft, and other enterprise platforms

• Establish and maintain best practices, governance, and change control processes

• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and drive sprint progress

• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to solve complex business problems

• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and reliability standards

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• Mendix Expert Developer certification required

• 10+ years of experience in IT, with 5+ years in Mendix application development

• Proven experience building complex domain models, integrations, and UI within Mendix

• Strong understanding of APIs (SOAP, REST, OData), Java, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML)

• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices (Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc.)

• Ability to operate in Agile and hybrid delivery models

• Comfortable with both strategy and execution—leading from the trenches

• Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
