JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Process Engineering Analyst, HRIS will be responsible for working with various business lines within the organization to understand their core processes in an effort to help them determine the best way forward when using technology solutions to scale the business. Specifically, they will serve as the functional owner and central liaison between HR, the HRIS managed services provider, and internal technology teams. Additionally, the position will own, drive, and manage assigned projects within a portfolio’s business unit. As part of this role, the position creates and manages requirements, project governance, alignment, project plan, deliveries, communications, and budgets.

 

The position will be responsible for working with their management to develop a deep understanding of the business area, including establishing relationships with the appropriate levels of leaders and stakeholders, creating deliverables from the assessment of the business, and supporting the identification of risks as it relates to scaling the business to meet patient growth demands. This role will support the creation of detailed business requirements needed to accurately assess whether in-house (e.g., SAP) solutions or vendor solutions will be the best fit and a phased project plan to define the timelines for delivery. The Business Process Engineering Analyst, HRIS will help the business and clinical teams communicate and deliver the necessary storylines to create understanding and buy-in across the executive team to gain approval and validate business case or value realization expectations along with supporting/managing the delivery of the final product.

 

This is a full-time, Hybrid, exempt position located in our Portsmouth, NH or Chesterbrook, PA offices reporting to either the BPE Sr. Manager or Sr. Portfolio Manager, based on need. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily functional administration and optimization of SAP SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, PMGM, Compensation).
  • Manage and validate configuration changes made by the HRIS managed services vendor
  • Maintain process documentation, configuration logs, and change control artifacts.
  • Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy (GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Support business process design and mapping,
  • Learn to cultivate a customer-service mindset and build strong relationships across the organization that are role appropriate,
  • Support the translation and communication of complex business requirements into tangible solutions that the business and clinical teams can own,
  • Help solve complex business challenges through technology,
  • Work with product engineering team to build and deliver products that positively affect the patient experience and business as a whole,
  • Manage project sponsor and stakeholders,
  • Establish project governance,
  • Set communication expectations,
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risk, issues, and changes,
  • Escalate risk, issues, roadblocks, etc. to appropriate management levels,
  • Manage escalations through to resolution,
  • Develop roles and responsibilities,
  • Collate project resources,
  • Formalize project, hypercare, and implementation plans,
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, constraints, and dependencies,
  • Implement Change Management & Business Readiness efforts through a leadership role,
  • Deliver per established project milestones.
  • Perform other duties and projects, as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • H.S Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related field,
  • 2+ years of experience in highly respected technology, biotech, consulting, or related firms,
  • 2+ years of experience in a product analyst, product owner, or project manager role,
  • 3-5 years of experience in HRIS administration or HR technology management
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors required (configuration, permissions, workflows)
  • Experience managing external vendors or MSPs
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills,
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior leaders, effectively push back and ask questions that generate solutions (strong risk management skills),
  • Medical technology, specialty pharmaceutical, or durable medical equipment experience preferred
  • Multi-national corporate knowledge preferred.
