Novocure is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) EMEA to lead and influence HR initiatives across the region. This pivotal role will partner with senior leadership to drive business outcomes through innovative and people-centric HR strategies.

As a trusted advisor, the Senior HRBP will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring compliance with regional labor laws, particularly in Switzerland and across EMEA.

This role reports directly to the Head of HR Switzerland and will serve as a key member of the regional HR leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business goals. Provide thought leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies across EMEA.
  • Talent Strategy & Succession Planning: Lead regional talent initiatives, including executive talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development. Champion a culture of growth and internal mobility.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Drive engagement strategies that foster inclusion, collaboration, and high performance. Act as a cultural ambassador and change agent across the region.
  • Executive Coaching & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering guidance on complex people matters, organizational dynamics, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Compensation & Benefits Strategy: Collaborate with Total Rewards to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices aligned with market trends and business needs.
  • Change & Transformation: Lead HR aspects of organizational change, including restructures, M&A integration, and strategic workforce shifts. Ensure smooth transitions through effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Learning & Development: Partner with L&D to identify capability gaps and implement targeted development programs for leaders and teams across EMEA.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure HR practices comply with Swiss and EMEA labor laws. Proactively manage risk and maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
  • HR Analytics & Insights: Leverage data to inform decisions, measure impact, and continuously improve HR programs and processes.
  • Project Leadership: Lead or sponsor cross-functional HR projects that enhance operational excellence and employee experience across the region.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent. Advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HRBP or regional HR leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of Swiss labor law and familiarity with employment practices across EMEA.
  • Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving strategic HR initiatives in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in at least one local language (German, French, or Italian).
  • Demonstrated success in leading change, coaching leaders, and building high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
