JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to support the Global Operations organization to enable faster, better-informed decisions through scalable analytics, trusted data products, and automation solutions.

The Business Intelligence Developer will transform data from enterprise data sources, increasingly leveraging the corporate Data Lake, into interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics that improve operational visibility across the COO organization. You will partner with Novocure’s automation solutions team to drive analytical efficiency and reduce manual work.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports using tools like Microsoft Power BI leveraging data primarily from the corporate Data Lake and other enterprise systems.
  • Build and maintain efficient data models, semantic layers, and reusable datasets.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and data transformations to ensure high-performance reporting.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Global Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Product Development, Quality, ET and Patient Experience to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Identify opportunities to automate business processes and develop automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all reporting solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing dashboards and reporting environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, data definitions, and user guides.
  • Promote BI best practices, data visualization standards, and continuous improvement within the organization.

 

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • About 5 years of experience developing Business Intelligence and analytics solutions.
  • Strong SQL development skills and experience working with enterprise databases.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience working with Data Lakes and modern cloud-based data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, data transformation and data visualization best practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent in English with communication and presentation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain organizations is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data processing.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Experience defining and monitoring operational KPIs.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare) is an advantage.

COMPENSATION:

The annual base salary ranges from 164 000 PLN to 200 000 PLN yearly*.

This pay range is the range of base pay compensation within which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
