Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and other types of solid cancers. Currently we are looking for a  SAP Program Manager to our office in Cracow, Poland.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary SAP Program Manager to drive our global SAP modernization journey. This role will be pivotal in assisting our transition to SAP RISE, being a key driver of a Fit-to-Standard transformation(brownfield, bluefield, greenfield) project across the enterprise, and coordinating additional projects as required. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, strong leadership capabilities, and proven experience in leadership in large-scale ERP programs, both technically and functionally.

Beyond short to mid-term transformation efforts, this role will serve as a long-term program manager and advisor for SAP innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring that SAP remains a strategic enabler of business growth and operational excellence.

This is a full-time, position reporting to the Director, SAP in our Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania office.

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transformation Leadership (SAP RISE & Fit-to-Standard)

  • Serve as a key team member for the company’s transition to SAP RISE with S/4HANA, managing scope and discrete projects along with SAP leadership
  • Drive the Fit-to-Standard transformation(brownfield, bluefield, greenfield etc), ensuring adoption of SAP best practices while balancing business-critical requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of business stakeholders, Novocure SAP staff, and system integrator (SI) partners assisting in this journey
  • Partner with business leaders and Business Process Engineers (BPE) in order to adequately understand and prioritize roadmap items for lines of business
  • Oversee change management, training, and communication strategies to maximize adoption.

Ongoing Transformation & Roadmap Management

  • Assist in driving the SAP transformation roadmap beyond the initial RISE project, including future rollouts, new technology integrations, and capability expansions.
  • Continuously evaluate new SAP innovations (BTP, AI/ML, analytics, automation) to influence the Enterprise Technology roadmap
  • Contribute to the success of SAP system governance, compliance, and audit readiness (working with Security, GRC, and Internal Audit)

Program Governance & Delivery

  • Lead steering committees and executive updates, providing transparency on program progress, risks, and value delivery
  • Manage relations with key delivery partners and system integrators (Sis)
  • Ensure that all transformation initiatives follow structured methodologies (SAP Activate, Agile, or hybrid delivery)
  • Oversee the transition of projects into steady-state support within the Application Support team

 

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8+ years of SAP experience, with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and related modules.
  • Proven leadership of at least one major SAP transformation program (brownfield, bluefield or greenfield)
  • Experience with SAP RISE / cloud-managed ERP migrations
  • Sun-setting of the CRM environment experience- as an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Fit-to-Standard methodology and global template rollouts
  • Track record of working with external SIs and managing large-scale ERP projects and budgets
  • Strong program and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of SAP architecture, integrations, and best practices.
  • Ability to communicate complex SAP strategies to executive and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong change leadership and organizational transformation skills.
  • Results-driven, with focus on delivering business value, not just technical outcomes 

OTHER: 

  • Experience with pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated industry environments.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, GXP compliance and data compliance frameworks
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for high priority projects up to 20-30 %
