Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and other types of solid cancers

JOB SUMMARY: 

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Developer to design, build, and maintain custom applications, integrations, and extensions within our SAP ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in SAP BTP services—particularly Integration Suite—and can deliver robust, scalable solutions that enhance business processes. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, functional, basis, and security teams to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure environment.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Manager, SAP Development and based out of our Krakow, Poland office. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develop, test, and deploy custom solutions on SAP BTP using services such as SAP Integration Suite (Integration and APIs, B2B Scenarios, Event Mesh, or similar), Cloud Foundry, and SAP Build tools.
• Own and maintain all existing and future BTP customizations, ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Design and implement integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external systems using SAP Integration Suite.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing BTP applications and integration flows (iFlows).
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Manage and version-control developments through Git or SAP’s transport management tools.
• Support deployment and lifecycle management for BTP artifacts in development, test, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and technical knowledge sharing across the team.
• Stay current on SAP BTP innovations and recommend new capabilities to improve the platform’s efficiency and user experience.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE: 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in SAP development, with at least 2 years focused on SAP BTP.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite (Integration and APIs, B2B Scenarios, Event Mesh, or similar).
• Proficiency in development tools and languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, Java, Groovy.
• Experience with REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML, and related integration standards.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and connectivity within BTP (e.g., OAuth, SAML, destination services).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control, and DevOps practices and python.
• Experience with SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, or Workflow Management.
• Exposure to SAP Extension Suite and side-by-side extensibility for S/4HANA.
• Exposure to, and aspiration to further develop skills in, Business Application Studio (BAS), Workzone Standard Edition, Joule, and SAP UI5/Fiori.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM.

  COMPENSATION:

  The annual base salary ranges from 178.200 PLN to 297.000 PLN yearly*.

  This pay range is the range of base pay compensation within which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
