The global business services organization within Novocure Poland is critical to Novocure’s efforts to drive process efficiency, standardizations and drive greater business value as the company prepares for future growth.

SAP Ariba Technical Architect

Position Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Ariba Technical Architect with experience in the Life Sciences industry to lead the design, integration, and implementation of SAP Ariba solutions across our global procurement and supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Invoicing, and Supplier Lifecycle), coupled with strong integration knowledge and a clear understanding of compliance and validation requirements specific to regulated environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develops the overall architecture for SAP Ariba implementation, ensuring integration with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, ECC).
  • Defines integration strategies with other enterprise systems (ERP, finance, procurement, etc.).
  • Configures and customizes SAP Ariba to meet business requirements.
  • Ensures adherence to SAP and industry best practices.
  • Acts as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Troubleshoots integration failures and provides resolution.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and regulatory teams to deliver validated and audit-ready solutions.
  • Define integration standards, data migration strategies, and security protocols in accordance with Life Sciences industry regulations (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Conduct code and configuration reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and manage system performance and reliability.
  • Stay current on SAP Ariba roadmap and innovations, recommending solutions that drive process optimization and cost savings.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams and collaborate with cross-functional technical architects.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of IT experience, with 4+ years as an Solution Architect in SAP Ariba implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Ariba modules, particularly Buying and Invoicing, Sourcing, and Supplier Lifecycle.
  • Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or Biotechnology industries, with understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to design complex, high-availability systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
