Novocure Poland is our newest office in Europe and you will be part of a global business services team supporting multiple business functions including finance and payroll and located in Krakow. The global business services organization within Novocure Poland is critical to Novocure’s efforts to drive process efficiency, standardizations and drive greater business value as the company prepares for future growth.

Product and Business Analyst – Scrum Master

 

The Product and Business Analyst – Scrum Master will own, drive, and manage assigned projects within the Product Development department by creating and managing requirements, project governance, alignment, project plan, deliveries, communications, and budgets together with the project manager, product manager and System Engineer. This position will be responsible for working with various business lines within the organization to understand their needs from the product and facilitate those in the requirements. In addition, this position will take the role of Scrum Master of the owned projects and guide the team through the Agile development process, in parallel this position will be empowered to act as the product owner in the agile development process.
 
This is a full-time, exempt position located in our Krakow, Poland offices, reporting to the Treatment Planning and Digital Application Director. 
 

Your responsibilities:
•    Learn to cultivate a customer-service mindset and build strong relationships across the organization that are role appropriate
•    Develop a deep understanding of assigned businesses areas 
•    Support the translation and communication of complex business requirements into tangible solutions that the product development team can own
•    Work with product engineering team to build and deliver products that positively affect the patient experience and business as a whole
•    Manage project sponsor and stakeholders
•    Set communication expectations with business and deliver necessary storylines
•    Take the roll of SCRUM Master in several software orientated projects and facilitate the Agile development process in each of those projects
•    Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices according to the company procedures
•    Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products
•    Work with the Product Managers, System architects and the Developers to prioritize the product backlog
•    Identify, manage, and mitigate risk, issues, and changes
•    Escalate risk, issues, roadblocks, etc. to appropriate management levels and manage escalations through to resolution
•    Establish understanding across executive teams to validate business case 
•    Assist the Project manager with managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, constraints, and dependencies
•    Deliver per established project milestones
•    Perform other duties and projects, as assigned

 

 

Your profile:
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
•    2+ years of experience in highly respected technology, biotech, consulting, or related firms
•    2+ years of experience in a product or business analyst role
•    1+ years of experience acting as SCRUM Master or 2+ years of working closely to a SCRUM Master
•    Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices
•    Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies
•    Excellent written and oral presentation skills
•    Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior leaders and peers, effectively push back and ask questions that generate solutions (strong risk management skills)
•    Relationship building skills across all levels within an organization
•    Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is a plus
•    SAFe certification and Kanban certification is a plus
•    Medical technology industry experience is a plus 
•    Multi-national corporate knowledge is a plus
