JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Operations Specialist I is a key member of Novocure’s Supply Chain Team, responsible for execution of all warehousing activities in our Portsmouth, NH facility. This dynamic role encompasses receiving, cleaning, and storing Class III Medical Devices and supplies, as well as picking, packing, and shipping orders to meet the needs of our patients. The position requires precision, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.
This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is vital to ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of equipment and materials for patient care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and inspecting for damage or discrepancies.
- Diligently clean returned equipment in accordance with established procedures to ensure it meets quality and safety standards for reuse.
- Maintain records on incoming shipments, reporting discrepancies or damage to management.
- Maintain compliance with Novocure’s Quality System, GDP, GMP, and ISO 14385 standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Accurately pick, pack, and label items for shipment based on internal and patient requirements.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations when handling patient-related shipments.
- Prepare shipments with correct documentation, adhering to DOT/IATA shipping regulations, including hazmat labeling when necessary.
- Load/unload delivery trucks in a safe and effective manner.
- Ensure the work environment remains clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Patient-focused, team and customer orientated.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a multi-faceted warehouse or operations role.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to use typical software packages (i.e.: MS Office, MasterControl, etc.) with minimal training
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and power-stackers, after completing required training.
- Familiarity with GMP, GDP, or ISO 14385 standards is preferred but not required.
OTHER:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
