JOB SUMMARY:

Novocure provides cancer patients with a novel treatment for aggressive cancers using Tumor Treating electric Fields (TTFields). The Senior Manager, Product Management Treatment Planning will act as the cross-functional leader of a product readiness responsible for durables equipment and accessories. As such coordinates all the launch-related activities with the commercial and product development teams.  This will be a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for:

 

  • Overall vision and direction of treatment planning software platforms across all indications
  • Research and develop the User Needs requirements by acting as the product owner up to product release
  • Have great communication and collaboration skills and be the primary bridge between development, medical, and commercial teams
  • Collaborate and coordinate with relevant teams on target product profiles that define the value proposition of the product
  • Have a strong understanding of translating the broader use cases relevant to Novocure patients into viable product offerings.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the product expert and owner, drive user needs for Treatment Planning software for Tumor Treating Fields
  • Collaborate with x-functional teams in creation of user needs to provide Software Development group with guidance on new product needs
  • Ensure that Novocure products meet the needs of our providers and are introduced to providers in a coordinated fashion
  • Be a strong collaborator that actively drives decisions on product attributes
  • Generate and coordinate target product profiles upfront in the product cycle in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Work with field teams on technical and communication readiness.
  • Develop methods for capturing and analyzing HCP feedback, product cost including, and market opportunities to set priorities for product changes
  • Lead efforts to incorporate metrics into products for acquiring and retaining users with focus on improving user experience and performance at economies of scale
  • Strongly collaborate with project managers, development team, commercial, and other teams throughout development cycle to lead all aspects of productization
  • Be the connecting link between the PD team and the market/commercial/consumer/medical

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Degree in an engineering discipline or related field. MBA Preferred
  • Healthcare technology background desired, with an concentration in oncology preferred
  • Experience with medical imaging with a preference towards exposure to MRI, CT, DICOM-RT
  • At least 7 years previous experience in similar position or customer support role in multi-disciplinary device field
  • Strong product knowledge combined with good acumen related to clinical and commercial value proposition of offering
  • Experience working with global markets and globally dispersed teams preferred

  • Correct and on time completion of assigned tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Up to 30% (domestic and international) travel may be required
