JOB SUMMARY: 

The Senior Manager, Product Management will serve as the cross-functional leader responsible for product readiness in the durables equipment and accessories space, coordinating all launch-related activities with both the commercial and product development teams. This highly motivated individual will drive the overall vision and direction of the durables equipment platforms (including devices and accessories) across all indications. They will act as the product owner, researching and developing user needs requirements and overseeing the process up to product release. As the primary bridge between development and commercial teams, they will ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Additionally, this role involves working closely with relevant teams to define target product profiles that align with the product’s value proposition. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to translate broader use cases relevant to Novocure patients into viable product offerings.

This is a full-time, hybrid, exempt position, reporting to the Director of Product Management. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Act as the category product expert and drive and own customer user needs for durables equipment and accessories (capital equipment and associated accessories). 
  • Collaborating with x-functional teams in creation of user needs to provide Development with guidance on new product needs 

 

  • Ensure that Novocure products meet the needs of our patients and are introduced to patients in a coordinated fashion. 
  • Be a strong collaborator that is able to drive decisions on product attributes.  
  • Generate and coordinate target product profiles upfront in the product cycle in coordination with relevant stakeholders. 
  • Work with field teams and Global Tech Support on technical and communication readiness. 
  • Develop methods for capturing and analyzing patient, caregiver, and HCP feedback, product cost including scrap/obsolescence, and market opportunities to set priorities for product changes.   
  • Be the lead on patient technical materials (PIOM, BOM etc.) 
  • Lead efforts to incorporate metrics into products for acquiring and retaining users with focus on improving user experience and performance at economies of scale. 
  • Strongly collaborate with project managers, development team, commercial, and other teams throughout development cycle to lead all aspects of productization. 
  • Be the connecting link between the PD team and the market/commercial/consumer  

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:  

  • Degree in an engineering discipline or related field. MBA Preferred. 
  • At least 7 years previous experience in similar position or customer support role in multi-disciplinary device field.  Medical, consumable product experience is an advantage. 
  • Strong product knowledge combined with good acumen related to clinical and commercial value proposition of offering. 
  • Experience with capital equipment products with electronics, software, mechanical and plastic components is required. 
  • Good system level understanding and some experience with connected products is a plus.

  • Up to 30% (domestic and international) travel may be required
