Job Summary:
The Senior Equity & Compensation Business Partner plays a critical role in shaping and executing Novocure’s global total rewards strategy, with a strong focus on equity compensation and executive pay. Reporting to the Head of Total Rewards, this strategic individual contributor partners closely with HR, Legal, Finance, and senior leaders to ensure programs are competitive, well-managed, and aligned with business objectives. The role blends data-driven insights with cross-functional collaboration to influence compensation-related decisions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Equity Program Strategy & Administration
- Partner with the Stock Plan Administrator on the design, analysis, and administration of global equity programs, including RSUs, PSUs, stock options, and ESPP.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, and the Stock Plan Administrator to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Analyze and forecast equity usage, dilution, share pool balances, and grant strategies.
- Build communication materials and deliver training to increase employee understanding and engagement with equity programs.
Compensation Strategy & Execution
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of competitive salary structures and variable compensation programs.
- Conduct benchmarking, job evaluations, and market assessments to inform pay positioning and equity allocation.
- Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to align rewards with performance and business goals.
- Support the annual compensation review cycle, including merit, promotions, and incentive planning.
Executive Compensation & Governance
- Assist with the development of executive compensation analyses and Compensation Committee materials.
- Support compliance with proxy disclosure requirements (e.g., CD&A, SCT, pay ratio).
- Monitor regulatory trends and provide insights to enhance executive pay programs.
Analytics & Insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards that track compensation and equity metrics, performance outcomes, and ROI.
- Deliver modeling and analysis to support scenario planning, funding, and strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across compensation, HR, and equity systems.

- You are seen as a trusted thought partner across HR, Finance, Legal, and senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 5 - 7+ years of experience in compensation and equity within a public company.
- Expertise in global equity plan design and administration.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with modeling, analytics, and visualization.
- Familiarity with equity platforms (e.g., Shareworks, E*TRADE) and HR systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors).
- Knowledge of proxy reporting, SEC compliance, and executive compensation best practices.
- CCP, CEP, or similar certification strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; high attention to detail.
