Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and other types of solid cancers.

Currently we are looking for a Operations Specialist, Global New Indications to our office in Cracow, Poland. This position is a hybrid one, requires 3 days per week presence in our Cracow office.

 

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Operations Specialist, Global New Indications, reports to the Senior Manager, Global New Indications Operations and provides operational leadership, process optimization, and enablement support for New Indications Device Support Specialists across assigned regions. This role focuses on monitoring, refining, and sustaining efficient system-based, cross-functional, and documentation workflows that support clinical trials. 

The Operations Specialist serves as a key connector between field execution, clinical operations, product development, and cross-functional partners, while acting as the test lead for New Indications DSS technologies. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Support with data collection and preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly operational reports and metrics with clear insights and recommendations 

  • Participate when needed/appropriate in cross functional or other project teams, assuming project manager responsibilities as applicable; helping the overall business of Novocure to continuously evolve, improve, and excel 

  • Lead projects as requested by NI Leadership 

  • Perform UAT or other needed testing for DSS technologies, including equipment management and patient interaction system updates 

  • Serve as point person for NI DSS process document updates, New Indications Patient Interaction and Equipment Management Guidelines, shared driveand relevant document management systems 

  • Serve as an SAP/Medidata Expert for the DSS New Indications team 

  • Review CRM documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to policies 

  • Develop and maintain global and regional SOPs, work instructions, and operational guidance documentsassisting with training efforts as requested by New Indications Leadershipcollaborate technical training for teams as appropriate 

  • Manage the routine upkeep, approvals, submissions, and distribution of New Indications DSS documents and resources through approved systems, including Veeva, MasterControl, SharePoint, and internal knowledge platforms 

  • Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate with cross functional partners to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance field performance 

  • Help develop success measurements/KPIs for projects 

  • Support internal audits, inspections, CAPAs, and investigations by collecting and communicating required information 

  • Support delivery of new hire SAP foundation training and process overview 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree, or relevant experience 

  • University degree in a scientific discipline or related field  -  nice to have
  • Proven experience as test lead representing a business unit - nice to have

  • Experience with CRM systems in a healthcare or medical device setting 

  • High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure while meeting multiple priorities 

  • Must demonstrate excellent follow-up and meticulous attention to detail 

  • Flexibility in time management to collaborate effectively across global time zones 

  • Business travel up to 10%

 

Knowledge:  

  • At least 2 years of experience testing technology systems/processes  

  • Medical device or other patient support experience  

  • Ability to translate technical information to lay audiences 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills 

  • Proven track record of being a collaborative worker with teambuilding ability 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; advanced training preferred 

  • Proficcient English level  

  • High level of flexibility and adaptability in navigating changing business processes and workflows 

  • Confident and friendly manner 

COMPENSATION:

The annual base salary ranges from 130.111 PLN to 159.025 PLN yearly*.

This pay range is the range of base pay compensation within which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
