Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. Intern, Reimbursement (m/w/d)



The German Reimbursement team is responsible for managing core reimbursement processes in Germany to establish medical necessity, obtain payer approvals, and collect accurate payments to minimize the financial burden for patients and maximize the financial outcomes for Novocure. As an intern, you will be supporting the team in the end to end process and also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across revenue operations, gaining intercultural experience in a international environment in the process.



Your day-to-day:

  • Your main responsibility will be ensuring the necessary documents to obtain reimbursement are created correctly and on time
  • You will support with creating documents for the health insurance companies and medical doctors and also request additional documents from health insurance companies and medical doctors as needed
  • You will also be responsible with uploading and maintaining documents on different internal systems
  • Working together with other colleagues in reimbursement, you will be covering all matter of administrative and operational needs of the department
  • Finally, you will participate in other departmental projects and contribute to team initiatives as assigned by the reimbursement manager



Your profile:

  • You ideally have knowledge of the local healthcare/ insurance system or a strong interest to develop in these areas
  • You are IT savvy and enjoy working with Microsoft Office programs
  • You communicate clearly and effectively with people from different backgrounds
  • You enjoy working pro-actively towards identifying solutions and improving processes
  • You are able to organize and perform your work independently in a fast-paced office environment
