JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager of Global Talent Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing talent development programs that align with the company's strategic goals. This includes partnering with regional HR teams and business leaders to identify development needs and create effective learning experiences. The role involves supporting performance improvement initiatives, supporting design and delivery of innovative learning programs, and leading change management efforts.
This is an exempt full-time position and located in one of the followig locations:
- Krakow, Poland
- Baar, Switzerland
- Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
L&D Program Design and Implementation:
- Develop and implement global talent development programs, including leadership development, career development, and skill enhancement initiatives.
- Collaborate with regional HR teams key stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify learning objectives, ensure programs meet local needs and align with global strategies.
- Collaborate with internal L&D partners to ensure consistency and alignment across departmental programming.
- Utilize human-centered design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
Talent Management:
- Establish a rhythm for talent management activities in conjunction with the business cycle to drive consistency and impact in execution and experience.
- Partner with HR business partners and business leaders to identify talent development needs and opportunities.
- Provide support to all talent-management related processes as needed, including talent review, succession planning and high-potential identification.
Performance Management:
- Design and implement performance management programs that enhance employee engagement and drive performance.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to support performance improvement and career development.
- Serve as project management lead for the annual performance management process
- Partner with Global HR, HRIS and Total Rewards to ensure program design meets the needs of the business and internal stakeholders.
- Research best practices and innovative approaches to performance management
General program and project management:
- Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent development programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on program outcomes and impact to senior leadership.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and implementation of new programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR business partners, business leaders, and external vendors.
- Ensure equality, as defined by global and regional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, is at the heart of Novocure's global talent management strategy and is highlighted as a critical element of performance management, talent management, and leadership training programs.
- Maintain and manage budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants.
- Experience working independently, anticipating and adapting to changing priorities.
- Perform other related administrative tasks and duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in general human resources, with a focus on talent development or a related area.
- Strong understanding of talent management processes and principles.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with program management, including design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to build and maintain trust with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels within Novocure
