JOB SUMMARY:
At Novocure, we're driven by a clear mission: to extend survival in some of the most aggressive forms of cancer through our innovative TTFields therapy. We are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Key Account Manager to support further growth of our presence across Austria, expand patient access to the therapy, and build lasting partnerships within the oncology community.
As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing acceptance and awareness of TTFields therapy as the standard of care in certain cancer types. You will fully own the process of developing Optune accounts in the region, starting with identifying high-potential accounts, converting them into TTFields centers of reference, and developing your ability to successfully prescribe TTFields to patients.
You will play a key role in interactions with all key stakeholders in the region, and act as face of Novocure towards them.

Preferred candidate location: Styria, Carinthia, or Upper Austria. This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel (80-90%) across Austria and occasional travel within Europe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective prescribers and key stakeholders.
- Identifies high potential prescribers by using own experience, market data and customer interactions to understand the flow of the oncological patients in their region, and succeeds in engaging them as reference centers for TTFields therapy.
- Certifies new centers, and subsequently develops with them programs and actions towards increasing the center’s ability to attract, initiate, and successfully treat patients with TTFields.
- Increases therapy awareness amongst physicians, and works with them towards establishing the value proposition of NovoTTF therapy towards all stakeholders (e.g. Oncologists, Surgeons, Radiation oncologists, Neuro-oncologists).
- Ensure activities comply with the applicable Novocure Quality System requirements.
- Acts as Medical Device Consultant / Medizinprodukteberater according to MPG§31
ABOUT YOU:
- 3-5 years’ of experience working directly with healthcare professionals, preferably within oncology
- Proven commercial experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare services, or a related healthcare environment. Experience across multiple healthcare sectors is an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop trusted partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growing organization and contributing to market development and business growth.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and adapt to changing business needs.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
- Strong existing network within the healthcare landscape is highly desirable
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s Degree in business/science or equivalent
