This is a highly autonomous, field-based role responsible for developing and expanding Optune (TTFields) adoption across the Northeast region of Spain (Catalonia, Aragón, La Rioja, Navarra, Baleares, Comunidad Valenciana). You will act as the face of Novocure in your territory, owning account strategy end-to-end and leading complex stakeholder engagement.

 

You will operate at the intersection of commercial excellence and market access, engaging with physicians, hospital management, medical directors, procurement, and payer stakeholders. This role requires seniority, presence, and the ability to lead high-value conversations in complex and non-routine environments.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

You will take full ownership of your territory, acting as an entrepreneur to build, develop, and grow the business while ensuring patient access to TTFields therapy.

  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with prescribers, evaluators, and key hospital stakeholders, including medical directors, hospital managers, and procurement teams
  • Identify and develop high-potential accounts through segmentation, profiling, and deep understanding of patient flow and regional dynamics
  • Lead the certification and development of new treatment centers, enabling them to successfully adopt and deliver TTFields therapy
  • Drive therapy awareness and value proposition across multidisciplinary stakeholders (neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, neuro-oncologists, oncologists, and hospital leadership)
  • Own hospital-level access by navigating complex access environments, minimizing administrative and financial barriers, and ensuring effective procurement processes
  • Actively shape and influence regional payer networks by mapping stakeholders, identifying access opportunities, and addressing barriers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical, and other internal teams to deliver integrated account strategies and maximize impact
  • Partner closely with the National Access Manager and leverage internal expertise to support accounts and advance strategic initiatives

 

ABOUT YOU

 

Minimum Requirement:

  • At least 5 years of experience interacting directly with the healthcare system in a commercial role (pharma or medical device)
  • Strong experience engaging with complex healthcare stakeholders, including physicians and hospital decision-makers
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, manage a territory, and deliver results with limited supervision
  • Strong presence and impact: able to capture attention, lead conversations, and influence senior stakeholders
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and reliability
  • Dynamic, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional working capabilities
  • Transparent, trustworthy, and team-oriented approach
  • Willingness to travel extensively (60–80%) within the assigned region and occasionally across Spain/Europe
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish and English

 

These additional qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience in oncology or working within structured, high-standard organizations (e.g., leading pharma companies)
  • Background combining commercial and market access responsibilities, with the ability to engage payers and procurement stakeholders
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager (KAM) with exposure to market access and hospital-level negotiations
