Junior RTR Accountant

Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and other types of solid cancers.

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a full time role tied to the Krakow office reporting to the RTR Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare standard monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform reconciliations and basic analyses for balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities in line with internal timetables and quality standards
• Prepare reporting schedules and supporting documentation
• Assist with audit requests by providing required support and explanations
• Escalate issues, differences, and process gaps to senior team members or the RTR Manager
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant general accounting experience (shared service or multinational environment is an advantage)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures, including US GAAP or IFRS
• Experience in preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Experience or willingness to work with BlackLine or similar account reconciliation tools
• Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and work with attention to detail
• Good communication and collaboration skills in an international environment
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage

COMPENSATION:

The annual base salary ranges from 102,713 - 128,950  yearly*.

This pay range is the range of base pay compensation within which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
