About the job

At Novocure, every role contributes to extending the lives of people living with cancer. As our new Intern Purchasing Operational, you’ll play a key part in this mission.

The Intern Purchasing Operational is a member of the Global Purchasing Operations team and supports the end-to-end process. Reporting to the Global Purchasing Operational Supervisor, this role plays a key supporting function for Global Team, helping to drive key operational Projects.

This is a highly collaborative role that works closely with Global Purchasing Operations team, Finance, Master Data and external service providers. It offers a strong learning opportunity for someone interested in Procurement Operations or Finance who wants exposure to how financial processes operate within the life sciences industry.

This is a temporary role for 6 months and the dimension of 75% FTE (3/4 time contract).

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will support critical project activities, including:

  • Supporting internal projects in accordance with established timelines and guidelines
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Finance, and Master data
  • Ability to maintain deadlines and solve problems
  • Support the development and maintenance of SOPs, guidance, and tools related to Procurement policies
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements

About You

Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor/Master degree (in progress) in Finance, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Interest in procurement/finance processes

These additional qualifications are preferred:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Interest in financial systems and working in the SAP system
