Territory Manager (TGI), Hartford, CT Region

Field Based / Full Time / Permanent

 

At At Novocure, every role contributes to extending the lives of people living with cancer. As our Territory Manager (TGI) for the Hartford region, you’ll build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and help expand access to an innovative cancer therapy.

We are seeking a purpose-driven, intellectually curious professional who can combine strong clinical or scientific knowledge with the ability to educate, influence, and develop relationships. The ideal candidate may bring experience in medical device or oncology sales, clinical education, direct patient care, or another patient-focused healthcare role and is motivated to apply that experience in a field-based commercial position.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide field-based sales and promotional activities directed to oncology health care professionals in oncology settings to all key stakeholders in each practice including medical oncologists and supporting staff
  • Development and implementation of territory account plans utilizing a collaborative team approach, meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Excellence in execution of corporate and regional strategies within assigned geographic area resulting in achievement of business objectives
  • Responsible for identifying new business opportunities to build and grow HCP prescribing within approved labeling in the territory

ABOUT YOU

  • Relevant experience in medical device, biopharmaceutical, healthcare sales, clinical education, direct patient care, nursing, clinical data abstraction, or a related healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to educate, influence, or build relationships with healthcare professionals and other clinical stakeholders.
  • Strong interest in science, clinical evidence, and continuous learning.
  • Resourceful, resilient, and comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
  • Ability to balance patient purpose with accountability for commercial objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required; clinical or advanced degree preferred.
  • Oncology, neuro-oncology, radiation oncology, or medical device experience is preferred but not required.

These additional qualifications are preferred:

  • 3-5 years in medical device sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Field sales or account management experience in oncology therapeutics is  preferred
  • Must have a proven ability to work in a fast paced organization with minimum supervision, good judgment and sound decision making skills

 

WHAT WE OFFER

This pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $145,000- $170,000/yr. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant in addition to a full range of benefits. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
