Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality that utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death.
Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe, and Israel.
Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, and other types of solid cancers.
We are looking for a Project Manager, NPI to lead and oversee enterprise-wide projects, ensuring governance and execution so that all initiatives align with company priorities.
This is a full-time position, a temporary role, and a backfill for 9 months to cover maternity leave.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management
- Govern and oversee high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with strategic company goals.
- Ensure execution excellence in multi-phase, high-complexity projects, from design input to commercialization.
Governance
- Develop and manage KPI-driven reporting systems, dashboards, and visualizations, providing executive leadership with clear performance insights.
- Establish and implement best practices, methodologies, and SOPs to improve execution efficiency.
Change management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing workflows and decision-making frameworks through cross-functional collaboration that includes: engineering, NPI, supply chain, quality, and regulatory teams.
- Lead high-complexity business and process changes, ensuring seamless execution and risk mitigation.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred:
- Project Management certification: PMP, PgMP, Six Sigma, etc.
- Supply certifications: APICS CSCP, etc.
- Quality certifications: GMP, ISO9001, ISO13485, etc.
- Knowledge:
- At least 3 years of experience in enterprise project governance within the medical device or other regulated industries, focusing on new suppliers, products, and operational aspects.
- Skilled team player with experience working in multidisciplinary environments involving suppliers, NPI engineers, QA, regulatory, and supply chain teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership abilities.
