At Novocure, every role contributes to extending the lives of people living with cancer. As our new Device Support Specialist (DSS), you’ll play a key part in this mission.

This is a field-based patient support role focused on delivering hands-on, 1:1 support to patients using Novocure’s Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) therapy in Switzerland. You will work directly with patients and caregivers in their homes, supporting treatment initiation, device use, and ongoing therapy adherence.

This role sits outside of the hospital environment and offers meaningful, long-term patient relationships, full training in TTFields technology, and the opportunity to make a tangible difference in patients’ lives every day.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, you will:

• Provide in-home training to patients and caregivers on the use of the TTFields medical device
• Reinforce and adjust patient training on a regular basis, including monthly follow-ups as needed
• Conduct routine patient visits to check the technical status of equipment and replace components when required
• Troubleshoot device-related issues by following established procedures
• Support healthcare professionals with patient treatment initiation, in line with delegation from the prescribing physician
• Travel extensively to patient homes and physician offices based on patient needs
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide phone-based patient support on weekends (approximately one to two times per month)

ABOUT YOU

Minimum Requirement:

• Background with direct patient-focused experience (e.g., nurse, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, dietician or similar patient-facing roles)
• Fluency in English and at least two of the following languages: Swiss German, French, or Italian, with a preference for Swiss German/German and Italian
• Valid Swiss driver’s license (B)
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Switzerland

These additional qualifications are preferred:

• Leadership or coordination experience in patient-facing environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered mindset
• Empathic, service-oriented, and people-focused approach
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic technical aptitude, including managing files and following troubleshooting procedures
• Comfort using standard IT tools such as MS Office
