This position is based in Madrid and serves as a critical link between healthcare providers, payers, patients, and internal teams. While the title reflects the customer-facing nature of the role, it sits within Revenue Operations and has a strong focus on reimbursement coordination, payment follow-up, billing support, and operational excellence.

 

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of follow-up activities, and is comfortable working across multiple stakeholders to ensure timely reimbursement, invoicing, and collections processes. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device environments who enjoys combining customer service, operational coordination, and revenue cycle management.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

In this role, you will play a central role in supporting patient onboarding, reimbursement activities, and revenue operations across Spain by:

 

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for physicians and internal stakeholders throughout patient intake and treatment initiation activities
  • Processing incoming prescription orders accurately and efficiently within Novocure systems to support timely patient onboarding
  • Managing and proactively following up on reimbursement and Purchase Order processes with treatment sites and payers to help ensure continuity of patient treatment and timely billing
  • Collaborating closely with Key Account Managers, Market Access teams, healthcare providers, and payer organizations to resolve reimbursement-related matters
  • Coordinating e-invoicing activities and ensuring invoices are submitted accurately and on time through third-party platforms
  • Driving collection follow-up activities in partnership with the Accounts Receivable team to support healthy cash flow and minimize outstanding receivables
  • Monitoring account status, identifying gaps, and proactively communicating next steps with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of operational activities, reimbursement updates, and stakeholder communications within Novocure systems
  • Supporting reporting, tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives related to intake, reimbursement, billing, and collections
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure priorities are aligned and operational objectives are delivered effectively

 

ABOUT YOU

Minimum Requirement:

  • 3+ years of experience in revenue operations, reimbursement, billing, collections, customer service, or a similar operational role within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries
  • Demonstrated experience following up on healthcare payments, reimbursement processes, invoicing activities, or payer-related workflows
  • Fluency in Spanish and strong conversational English, both written and spoken
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder follow-ups simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and process execution

 

These additional qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working with payer organizations and healthcare reimbursement systems
  • SAP or other ERP system experience
  • Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholder relationships
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex situations professionally
  • Proactive, energetic, and customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Experience operating within highly regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device environments

 

WHAT WE OFFER

 

This pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is 25,000 to 35,000 €. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant in addition to a full range of benefits. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
