Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and other types of solid cancers.
Currently we are looking for a Contract Admin Specialist to join our office in Cracow, Poland. It will be a hybrid postion that requires 3 days per week working from the office, 2 days working from home.
JOB SUMMARY:
- In this role you are responsible for managing and maintaining the Ariba Contract Management system.
- You will coordinate contract request intake and reviews by routing workflow with Requesters, Legal, Sourcing, and signatories; maintain standard templates; and monitor expirations, escalations, and contract compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain contract lifecycle in the Ariba Contract Management system
- Responsible for managing contract requests, contract workspace tasks and contract terms
- Route documents to Requesters, Legal, Sourcing, and signatories for contract reviews; archive and publish executed contracts in the Contract Management system.
- Support Requesters and stakeholders on contract-related items (e.g., support development of contract terms).
- Communicate upcoming contract expirations and key findings of contract non-compliance to the appropriate stakeholders
- Manage and maintain the development of standard contractual templates and facilitate widespread usage
- Make improvements to contract management processes and ensure standard processes are followed
- Communicate changes in category specific templates or contract management process including training when appropriate
- Recommend contractual policy improvements and oversee whether policies are consistently applied
- Stay abreast with relevant regulatory laws and maintain contract templates
- Support Requesters in troubleshooting
- Deliver trainings and regular updates on relevant procedures and processes
- Design and conduct process‑related trainings and knowledge‑sharing sessions
- Communicate procedural and process updates to business and operational teams
- Maintain up‑to‑date training materials for procedures and process changes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. / B.A. degree in Business (or other related degree programs)
- 1-2 years of experience with contract management, sourcing, procurement operations/consulting, or corporate process auditing
- Demonstrated success in gathering data, conducting analyses, and generating high quality outputs
- Willingness to learn contract management skills and seek out feedback/assistance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide recommendations for opportunity based on analysis work
- Knowledge of business systems including ARIBA Contract Management, ERP/ Procurement systems preferred
- Knowledge contract development and execution preferred
- Knowledge of legal contract terminology and conditions as well as intellectual property issues, and dataprivacy issues and regulations preferred
KNOWLEDGE:
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate and influence people at all levels of the organization as well as external stakeholders.
- Experience in handling contracts, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Source-to-Contract process and tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa) preferred.
- Analytical and process-driven mindset with ability to facilitate training and communicate changes to stakeholders.
COMPENSATION:
The annual base salary ranges from 105.030 PLN to 128.370 PLN yearly*.
This pay range is the range of base pay compensation within which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
