The Commercial excellence Manager is responsible for implementing the commercial excellence strategy in line with the global approach and tools, as well as developing and implementing the different tools for Spain. Reporting to the GM Spain, he/she works in close collaboration with Novocure's global and regional teams based in Switzerland.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Analysis of the sales performance, develop Sales dashboard with relevant KPIs, make recommendations for action to improve the efficiency of sales activities.
  • Help business in identifying risk and opportunities to maximize Novocure´s performance.
  • Maximize use of any external data source, either provided by Novocure or self-identified to enhance Novocure´s knowledge base in the local market
  • Build and be responsible of the follow up of SIP for sales force: plan scheme, territory targets, monitoring, payout and incentives analytics
  • Run the forecast in collaboration with Finance. Ensure inputs to forecast models are accurate
  • Ownership of CRM (VEEVA) implementation, use and adaptation for the Spain affiliate working closely with VEEVA global team, including territory alignment, segmentation, targeting.
  • Coordinate pan-BU digital strategies with Digital department, in the context of Multichannel Marketing Mix.
  • Implement a data governance scheme, including ingestion of local data, mappings, taxonomy/ontology and data cleaning, all within the context of Novocure data model.

 

Operational Excellence – Process Improvement

  • Drive the review and optimization of core operational processes and workflows.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to simplify and standardize ways of working.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Support adoption of new processes and ensure consistency across teams.
  • Be an agent of technology enhancement to improve processes and productivity.

 

Operational Excellence – Projects & PMO Support

  • Provide PMO support to leadership, ensuring structured tracking and follow-up of key initiatives and action plans.
  • Run a PMO tracker, managing backlogs, initiation, MVP, closing and evolution lists.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring clear scope, roles, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate prioritization of initiatives in alignment with business needs and team capacity.
  • Establish appropriate governance and ensure disciplined execution of projects.
  • Identify risks and dependencies and proactively drive resolution.
  • Explore innovation, solutions, vendors, best practices that create an opportunity to enhance operational excellence.

 

Cross-Functional Enablement (MOA Approach)

  • Act as a cross-functional facilitator, enabling alignment and effective collaboration across teams.
  • Translate business needs into practical processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Maximize the use of VEEVA CRM functionalities as the go-to collaboration tool for customer interaction, in-line with Novocure´s tech architecture and data model.
  • Support the implementation of solutions that enhance operational efficiency and usability: be a champion of bottom-up/top-down alternatives.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and execution excellence.

 

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant sales and marketing effectiveness experience (preferably in the medical device or oncology field)
  • Previous experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Veeva, Power BI or Tableau
  • Expected to include travel (up to 30% of time) national and international, including occasional weekend trips to conferences and internal meetings.
  • Perfect command of Spanish both written and spoken
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written; any additional language is an asset

 

Knowledge:

  • Strong strategic vision and demonstrate creativity, strong collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a "Team Player" spirit in a global international organization and cross-functional launch environment
  • Interpersonal, oral and written communication and project management skills to interact effectively with a variety of internal (global teams, Spanish team) and external (opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, suppliers, service providers) contacts
  • Organized and autonomous, you are detail-oriented and able to manage several projects simultaneously, prioritizing them to deliver on time while respecting regulatory processes
  • You have a good command of the M365, CRM, Power Platform and data architecture, and an interest in digital and multichannel solutions
  • Must work confidently, proactively and assertively with a high level of independence
  • Good judgement, ability to adapt and change in a shifting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medtech industry preferred.
