Medical Science Liaison, US Thoracic Oncology

Field-Based, Central Region U.S. / Full Time / Exempt / Permanent

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as the scientific interface between Novocure and the healthcare professional community, communicating scientific data, clinical insights, and development plans
  • Provide field-based medical education and scientific support on Novocure’s FDA-approved and pipeline products
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and healthcare providers
  • Support Clinical Operations in the execution of Novocure-sponsored research as needed
  • Engage with investigators to support and develop investigator-initiated research related to TTFields, inovitro™, and investigational products
  • Ensure all scientific exchange and communications are compliant with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Attend and support scientific congresses, medical meetings, and regional/national conferences
  • Gather and communicate field insights to internal stakeholders to inform strategy and enhance medical and commercial initiatives
  • Serve as a scientific resource for internal teams, including training and education support
  • Maintain deep clinical, scientific, and technical expertise through continuous learning and literature review

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Advanced degree in a scientific or clinical field (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD, NP) preferred
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a comparable role
  • At least 2 years of combined oncology and/or industry experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly and effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and articulate scientific data and clinical concepts
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams

 

These additional qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience supporting thoracic oncology or solid tumor therapeutic areas
  • Experience working with clinical research and investigator-initiated studies

 

 

WHAT WE OFFER

The pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $140,000- $233,000/yr. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant in addition to a full range of benefits. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
