Application Support Specialist- SAP Ariba
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Application Support Specialist to manage and support our SAP Ariba platform across global procurement and supply chain operations. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of Ariba modules including Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Invoicing, and Supplier Lifecycle Management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP Ariba support, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of standard software compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP Ariba applications, resolving technical issues and ensuring system stability and performance via ticketing system.
- Monitor integrations between Ariba and SAP ERP systems (ECC/S4HANA), identifying and resolving interface errors using middleware tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI).
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, implement fixes, and support ongoing enhancements.
- Maintain system configurations, user roles, and access controls in accordance with compliance standards.
- Document support processes, issue resolutions, and system changes to ensure audit readiness and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed on SAP Ariba updates.
- Work in partnership with Business Analysts and Product Ownership teams to ensure that new changes or enhancements have serviceability considered.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience supporting SAP Ariba applications, with strong knowledge of Buying and Invoicing, Sourcing, and Supplier Lifecycle modules.
- Experience with integration troubleshooting between Ariba and SAP ERP systems using SAP CPI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- SAP Ariba certification or relevant technical training preferred
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred
- Understanding of procurement processes including indirect/direct procurement and supplier onboarding preferred
